Amoreiras, a life in itself

Vanguard Properties and GMR Real Estate have decided to create Amoreiras District Living, a concept whose goal is to show that this neighbourhood has everything to be one of the best to live in in Lisbon.

A dynamic neighbourhood where, like in none other, modernity walks side-by-side with tradition, Amoreiras boasts an enviable central location. Close to one of the main access routes to Lisbon, but also close to the Marquês de Pombal Roundabout and some of the most important green parks in Lisbon, Amoreiras will shortly gain even more relevance with the arrival of the Metro extension. 

Anticipating this change, two real estate developers Vanguard Properties and GMR Real Estate - behind two adjacent residential projects on Av. Cons. Fernando Sousa, respectively, A’ Tower and LX Living, have now created Amoreiras District Living.  The concept, based on ideas shared by the developers and in their own vision which have led them to invest in this area of the city, has as its main objective to promote Amoreiras as an exceptional place in which to live in Lisbon.

A rare number of advantages: a vast commercial offer of shops, offices and eateries and excellent road and public transport links, together with a renewed residential offer crystallised in two buildings designed by the renown architects Atelier Saraiva + Associates, which will bring the new life and urban harmony that characterise the cities of the future to the neighbourhood.   

In the words of José Cardoso Botelho, CEO of Vanguard Properties:  “The aim of the initiative is not just to develop the potential of an offer which acts as a complement but at the same time show the advantages that the area offers, namely a vast offer of services and the renovation that the area is undergoing will shortly turn this into the residential area of choice that will fulfil the concept of the ‘15-minute city’, a concept of urban sustainability in which residents can live, work and enjoy vital services within a short distance radius, and with all that this means in terms of quality of life.” 

Alain Bell, of GMC Real Estate prefers to emphasise the fact that “one apartment in this area of the city, apart from representing the right choice from the point of view of owning a home and also the most intelligent in terms of investment which from the quality of the properties and location, can only gain in value.

The initiative, which will be launched in February, will in the first phase comprise a communications campaign mostly on digital media, the target markets being Portugal and also countries like Brazil and the USA.
