Vanguard Properties, currently the largest residential real estate developer in Portugal, with a unique and high-quality portfolio of projects, is looking to grow its Finance department in Lisbon, by recruiting a Financial Support (m/f).
Core Responsibilities
Treasury
Relating to Vanguard, Group companies, and their clients:
- Processing and classifying supplier invoices and other accounting documents in the document management system
- Process and classify supplier invoices in the supplier table, Filedoc, and NAV
- Load one-time payments and transfers
- Control debits and credits in bank accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Ensure the control and recording of customer fund inflows
- Prepare customer refunds (drafting letters, collecting signatures, and sending them to the respective banks)
- Reconcile customer information and send daily information and proof of fund inflows to the responsible departments
- Prepare weekly reports for banks with information on customer deposits and refunds and send the respective supporting documentation
- Prepare and issue advance invoices to customers, based on the amounts received
- Prepare and issue intra-group invoices
Accounting, Auditing and Taxes
- Ensure the processing and organization of financial information for accounting purposes
- Ensure the validation and forwarding of invoices
Contract Management
- Ensure the control and management of contracts entered with customers (Reservation Agreements/CPCVs/Deeds), as well as Addenda and Powers of Attorney
- Ensure the control and analysis of contracts with intermediaries (CMIs) and provision the respective commissions (internal and external)
Archive
- Ensure the processing, classification and registration of all financial, legal and tax information
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance
- English (Advanced knowledge)
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Intermediate knowledge)
