National padel champions Miguel and Nuno Deus become official brand ambassadors for Vanguard Properties

Portuguese padel champions Miguel and Nuno Deus have just become official brand ambassadors for the top property developer Vanguard Properties. Considered one of the finest doubles pair in Portuguese padel, Miguel (30) and Nuno Deus (28) started playing tennis from an early age, achieving an international ATP ranking before deciding to concentrate their efforts solely on padel in 2018, becoming national champions in 2023.

Vanguard Properties is committed to promoting sport in Portugal, as demonstrated by its sponsorship of the Millennium bcp Estoril Open. In addition to this, it promotes youth tennis through the Vanguard Stars project, which organises national and international championships for under-10s and under-11s, simulating the conditions of professional ATP and WTA tournaments. It’s also worth mentioning that the company has other top Portuguese athletes on its roster, such as professional golfer, Pedro ‘Figgy’ Figueiredo, and the captain of the Portuguese national rugby team, Tomás Appleton, as well as the CDUL rugby club.

This partnership entails various promotional initiatives and communication projects that involve both the Vanguard brand and sponsored athletes throughout the year.

For José Cardoso Botelho, CEO of Vanguard Properties, "it’s a source of great pride having the Deus brothers as our new ambassadors. Miguel and Nuno personify everything we believe in, be it the constant pursuit of excellence or a determination to achieve ambitious goals. We’re sure that they’ll be a great example to the new generation of padel players, as well as everyone who follows our brand."

The brothers add that "Vanguard Properties’ support is proof that effort and dedication yield positive results. We’re delighted to be joining the Vanguard Properties family. It’s a brand we admire and respect a great deal."
