Terraços do Monte is the latest residential project from Vanguard Properties in Lisbon

Terraços do Monte, the new project from Vanguard Properties is yet another ultra-premium project that will stand out from the real estate offer in the historic centre of Lisbon. 

The residential building located at the top end of Rua Damasceno Monteiro, immediately below the Nossa Senhora do Monte belvedere from which unfolds the most magnificent views of the city, has everything to make it an urban landmark.

Overlooking the city, in the historic neighbourhood of Graça, where tradition has it that the one breathes the purest air in Lisbon.

St. Jorge’s Castle, flanked by the immense swathe of houses that make up Lisbon's down town ‘baixa’ which borders onto the river with the south bank of the Tagus beyond, makes up a majestic backdrop which makes this building  a tribute to the art of living in the city of seven hills.

Designed by ARX Portugal Architects which had already designed the flagship Castilho 203, next to Parque Eduardo VII, the project follows the developer’s philosophy to complete top-quality projects which make the most of Lisbon’s beauty and its incomparable light. 

Developed in a contemporary architectural style, the Terraços do Monte emphasises the spacious verandas and windows that literally make each apartment a private belvedere perched on the Santo André hill.

Spread over five floors, (just two above street level) and typologies that vary between one and four bedroom flats with fairly generous areas, the Terraços do Monte, in line with other projects with the Vanguard Properties hallmark, boast a number of luxury amenities including a pool, gym, health club and 24-hour concierge service.

And while on the subject of beauty when discussing this building and the artworks that represent one of Vanguard Property’s hallmarks, there is a site-specific work created by a Portuguese artist.  

Building work on the project will start in 2021 when marketing and sales will begin, with completion slated for 2023.

Terraços do Monte represents an investment of around 25 million euros all told for a property of around 6,000m2 of total construction area.
