Vanguard meets with the Brave Generation Academy

A delegation from Vanguard Properties headed by its CEO, José Cardoso Botelho, went to discover Tim Vieira’s Brave Generation. Academy

But what is this project all about?

It is an alternative to what is already out there in education because it operates as a more democratic and affordable model for families - this is the starting point of the Brave Generation Academy training project. This is an education academy with a structured programme within the British national curriculum aimed at youngsters from 13 years old, so they can better prepare to develop and hone their aptitudes for a world in constant change; an education that provides a new generation with the skills and independence to take action and make real changes in the world, states the project’s official site.

The Brave Generation Academy offers an educational programme which matches the goals and time schedules of each pupil within a hybrid education format.  Specialised teachers will support the pupils in setting targets and implementing strategies to reach.  The model chosen is the best of both worlds, meaning the use of innovative technologies as an educational tool (the content is taught on-line), and timetable flexibility to suit both students and families.

Centred around the pupil, the academic methodology was designed so that the teacher is available daily from 8am to 6pm.  Each teacher will have a maximum of 12 pupils to ensure that each of them gets the attention they deserve.

The creation of the Brave Generation Academy is the fruit of the experience of its founder Tim Vieira with his children during the pandemic, which led him to ponder a new way of teaching and learning.
